San Francisco is probably the most beautiful, pleasant city i had the pleasure to stay in. I think it was when i was sitting in Grace Cathedral and looking up into the dome that i had one of those weird, happygoodtime inner peace moments. Or not inner peace, more like, being really tuned into myself. The air there could make anything grow pretty.
But when we were flying back over Boston, and i could see the moon lighting up the shore and cape cod extending out into darkness, i felt an actual stab of happiness. Im really fucking glad to be home.
i called in, and told my manager kevin that i cant come into work today. he sounded really stern/unhappy/sad, but im sure he was just using that voice to make me feel guilty. and i have to say that it worked for like 2 seconds, because it was kevin, and he's my fave. but then the feeling passed, to be replaced with a feeling of euphoria at not having to go to that hellhole. The irony is that tonight im going to have dinner at a different c-fac with mike's family, and im really excited. I fucking LOVE THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY.
PS: ok so i finished harry potter. and died. this is me speaking from beyond the grave. djfhdjsgfjsagk. heaving. sobs. she may as well stop writing, because my life isnt worth living anymore.
